Lost is my quiet forever
Nicole Beutler’s Lost is my quiet forever starts off the thematic focal point ÜBER FÜLLE. Together with five dancers, one pop singer and one counter tenor the choreographer embarks on a time travel back to the world of Baroque. Her approach is the subjective interpretation of a fictitious Baroque opera in three acts, in which typical motifs such as theatricality, emotion and opulence are confronted with a sober aesthetic. Beutler’s search for the limits of the logical and rational enables her actors and audiences to experience and reflect on acoustically and visually produced moods. This balancing act is played out to the music of Henry Purcell and the British DJ and composer Gary Shepherd.
