Variations on Closer stages an unsettling moment of suspense accompanied by a paranoid soundtrack by musician and producer Peter Rehberg. The three performers Laura Siegmund, Johanna Chemnitz, and Angela Schubot – most recently seen on the brut stage with What they are instead of at imagetanz 2011 – move along with sound traces and fragments of strange party music.
