In Spirit – the 2013 imagetanz hit – the seductive duo Holzinger & Riebeek stage an ode to believing and spirituality. Spirit is hard liquor and a radical theatre experience about spiritual life. They embark on a tour of discovery through Eastern philosophy, pop culture, tarot, psychomagic and Cirque du Soleil. They want to passionately believe each other, the audience, and the performance. With much conviction, it creates a spectacle that relentlessly provides insights into unseen spheres and thus repeatedly confronts with the tension between timidity and curiosity.
