Sarah Vanhee

Lecture For Every One is not a show, it is rather an intruder, a gift, a benevolent virus that will spread in Vienna. Like a friendly stranger, performance artists Sarah Vanhee and Deborah Hazler infiltrate a wide variety of gatherings throughout the city, including corporate board meetings, parliamentary assemblies and meetings of small associations and initiatives. They surprise those present with a short, highly personal lecture, speaking about community, about living together and think about the forces that effect our fragmented society. They also ask themselves the question of how a lecture can manage to speak personally to each individual while simultaneously addressing the whole collective, and how to achieve this especially without the use of statutes, political messaging, mass media and advertising.

Lecture For Every One was initiated by Belgian performance artist Sarah Vanhee and has toured in numerous cities. The lecture will be shown on both evenings in brut as part of a project presentation which will be followed by an audience talk with Sarah Vanhee and Deborah Hazler, who will be performing the lecture in German in Vienna.
