Sabina Holzer/Mariella Greil/Nikolaus Gansterer
Grundeinkommenstanz
Artists Sabina Holzer, Mariella Greil and Nikolaus Gansterer dedicate their contribution to the imagetanz Festival to a clear social and economic goal – resource-oriented, sustainable redistribution. In order to give the desire for unconditional basic income a new form of expression, the three invite everyone to a Basic Income Dance in public space. Conceived less as a demonstration than as a celebratory gathering and a dance binge in solidarity, the artists appeal for open spaces, humanity and new values.
Everyone who supports a better distribution of resources can join in the dance. Artist Nikolaus Gansterer has designed a map/score for the participatory performance in urban space that visually captures the encounter of basic income and choreography. Basic Income Dance takes social injustice into account and calls on everyone to join this collective dance for social change. So the only thing left to say is, “Let’s dance!”
The Basic Income Dance is developed in cooperation with the Basic Income Network, Poverty Conference, the Vienna Food Bank and Attac.
