This year’s sound:frame festival focuses on “A MATTER OF...” and assigns a central role to the process of reflection within the development of audiovisual formats, the audiovisual artwork and its reception, as well as the term “audiovisual art”. For brut im Künstlerhaus this means three consecutive days of a special visual set-up that will be played live by a variety of visualists. All three evenings will have a specifically exceptional audiovisual choreography via collaborations such as those of Valence and nita, and Thomas Wagensommerer and Uli Kühn. In brut you can see and hear the live AV performance LUMISOKEA (Anti VJ, Berlin) as well as live acts such as WIFE. (TriAngle Records, London), Romare (Black Acre Records, London), Anushka (Brownswood Recordings, Brighton) and The Ruff Pack (Sessionwork Records, Vienna/New York City).
