The mysterious Swedish-Australian electro-pop band Kate Boy has taken off in an unprecedented way over the past several months. First founded in mid-2013, the band, made up of singer Kate and the three young men of Rocket Boy from Sweden, is performing around the world already and was last seen in a magnificent performance locally at Waves Vienna. Their angular/rough, purist electro pop, their artful, super-cooled video clips and the mystery of what they looked like quickly brought Kate Boy euphoric comparisons with great role models such as The Knife and ABBA.
