A quadruple premiere at brut! After tour stops in Tokyo, Berlin and London, this is the first time multi-instrumentalist, composer and autodidactic pianist Dorian Concept presents his new live show and album Joined Ends in his home town Vienna. Forming a threesome with his long-time musical partners Cid Rim and The Clonious, Dorian Concept constructs hypnotic synth phrases and massive bass lines. Cid Rim plays an additional solo set made up of electronic hip-hop designs with his typical sound signature, numerous jazz references and playful synth variations. Affine Records newcomer Wandl comes round the corner luring the audience into a lucid temporary dream with tight-wovern beat, free-floating vocals and serpentine melodies. A very special premiere is added by JazzWerkstatt Wien, who celebrate their tenth creative anniversary just like Dorian Concept. The JazzWerkstatt Wien New Ensemble will perform and reinterpret Dorian Concept’s tracks from 2004 to 2014 in varying constellations.
