Strip naked, talk naked
In April 2013 the Danish talk show Blachman was broadcast on television for the first time and immediately caused a controversial debate: two men, completely dressed, are sitting on a sofa, a woman in a bathrobe walks in, takes off her bathrobe and stands naked in front of them in the light. The men stare at her body and begin to talk about female beauty, manliness and other related topics. The woman is silent. Host Thomas Blachmann sees his show as a therapy option for modern men, who have lost track of their sexual identity between pornographisation and changing relationships between genders. But who is really stripping bare here: the woman or the talking men? Based on a reenactment of this talk show, performers Rose Beermann and Iva Sveshtarova examine different forms of intimacy and celebrate the enjoyment of revealing oneself. Strip naked, talk naked!
