To start off her workshop at brut, London-based Hawaiian Stacy Makishi holds a lecture performance on her production Bull: The True Story. The performance is inspired by the Coen Brothers’ film classic, Fargo, which along its trip through all sorts of genres pokes fun at the promise of and desire for a True Story. Her lecture is a battlefield between truth and lies. What is being said? What concealed?
