LINGER

Erstaufführungbrutproduktion

Death on Bodmin Moor by British novelist Victor Gunn – a mysterious story with ominous signposts, piercing screams in the night, and foggy highland moors – provides the occasion for four people to meet and indulge their passion for trashy literature. The four performers search for their version of the story, using the material at hand trying to find out more. In LINGER they re-invent the landscapes of the book, reconstruct them, and try to put the puzzle together, always searching for the answer to the questions of questions: Who did it. LINGER is the new performance by notfoundyet – the artist duo Thomas Kasebacher & Laia Fabre – and investigates the themes of guilt and confession. How do we manage to live together as a community with these portents, and is the dichotomy of guilt and confession a necessary mechanism for our human existence? The relationship between guilt and confession is further inextricably linked to the idea of freedom and who controls it. Will the four performers be able to discover a path leading to unlimited freedom? www.notfoundyettheatre.com
