Juha Valkeapää & Taito Hoffrén

In 10 JOURNEYS TO A PLACE WHERE NOTHING HAPPENS, musician Taito Hoffrén and artist Juha Valkeapää tell stories about life and its most important questions. In a heated tent that will be home for the two Finns for the length of the performance, they greet the entering audience members, make pancakes, and brew coffee. They minister to their guests, play music, and tell stories from their lives as artists and of lumberjacks in Finland. The tent becomes a place where one can forget oneself and everyday life – a space to slow down within the bustle of the city.
