Screenstrike! Konferenztanz mit den QUOTE-allstars

On the occasion of the international conference Screenstrike! Gender, Medien, Kritik, [Gender, Media, Criticism], which will be taking place from 10 to 12 May at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, brut will also be a venue for questions such as: what comes after post-feminism in Gender Studies and Media Science? Which findings can be currently seen at the intersection of media and gender-political systems? What role do terms such as “empowerment”, “agency” and “choice” play in current media and popular culture? And the evening remains open for further discussions in connection with feminist Media Science before the legendary DJ-collective QUOTE invites to the conference dance floor where video installations by Austrian feminist artists are being shown. www.univie.ac.at/screenstrike
