V’ELAK Gala #70
Konzertreihe für experimentelle Musik
Seventy trifling things on the abyss: V’ELAK – the association for electro-acoustic music – pushes its way through the experimental, electronically inhabited field for the seventieth time. Looking for a new concert format, the V’ELAK gala has become a fixture among international happenings. A concentrated listening situation that is necessary for the fragile and escalating experiments is certainly the event’s focus. For this special evening, the association for electro-acoustic music will be conceiving complex multi-channel craziness and a programme running the gamut from acousmatic tape compositions to various performance formations of stylistic alienation and re-appropriation with regard to the common musical notions. In the form of a sizeable collective, the V’ELharmonic Orchestra will be composing, improvising and imagining a concert of mis-harmonic brass and wood instruments, analogue and digital electronica, in considerable turmoil spectrally and horizontally. The qualities of the multitude result in a versatile and invisible sculpture called music. http://velak.klingt.org
