BRUTTO

Starting in September the three creative artists Rania Moslam, Lisa Kortschak and Gregor Mahnert will be delighting brut with a new monthly concert series: BRUTTO! The organisers’ backgrounds – which include (but aren’t limited to) music, fine and visual arts, photography and art history – promises an uninhibited musical-performance juxtaposition as well as a combinatorics of overlapping scenes and genres. As part of this programme the concerts will also be opened to other artistic formats in order to sound out points of contact, create friction and to bring together apparent and real opposites. They won’t be acting in an arbitrary “anything goes” fashion, but instead as a programme that dares to bring things together.
