You Are Not Alone is a chronicle about the vehement attempt of a DIY warehouse employee to make contact with his environment. He attempts to jump off planet loneliness between skyscrapers, supermarket chains and Facebook using unorthodox methods, including the fastidious documentation of his neighbours’ sex lives or X-rated chats using a faked profile.
You Are Not Alone allows a fleeting glance into the world of an eccentric freak who uses methods bordering on madness to try to break free from the isolation of modern society. A provocative, moving and comic show in which Kim Noble successfully establishes contact with the audience and the world outside using performance, comedy and video. Kim Noble, an award-winning performance and video artist, mixes dark British humour with a touch of absurdity and targets the human situation between death, sexuality and religion in his works for film, television and theatre.
