upgrade/downgrade DIE ZWEITE
After a culinary start-up during the long dance and performance night in September, hoelb/hoeb will again be offering their legendary upgrade/downgrade cuisine. A culinary installation of the special kind will be created in the Konzerthaus over ten days: this time service is happening in the cellar, it smells of Sunday roast and ill-tempered chickpeas. Wurm and West are hidden behind a kitchen image by Rosemarie Trockel, and macadamia nuts on the wall are nervously waving for help. hoelb/hoeb subject food or orders from the audience to a want-food platform of an arbitrary upgrade or downgrade process with an uncertain outcome. Additionally, craftspeople, participants of all genders, and artists in need of support will be offering various services on location.
There will be garnishing, cooking, spraying, sticking, and ironing. Based on the motto “whatever comes to the table will be painted”, hoelb/hoeb will be tickling everyone’s fancy.
All the artworks, installed objects, furniture, and furnishing on location can be purchased. Groups of ten persons or more should make a reservation. Please reserve a table by calling +43 (0) 1 587 87 74.
